Artemis II

Lunar Flyby Wallpaper Collection

About the Mission

Artemis II launched in April 2026, sending four astronauts on a flyby around the Moon. It was the first time humans traveled to the Moon since Apollo 17 in 1972. The crew spent about 10 days in space, looping around the far side of the Moon before heading back to Earth.

Along the way, they photographed the lunar surface, caught Earth from a quarter-million miles out, and even witnessed a solar eclipse from deep space. These photos were released by NASA and are free to use. I turned my favorites into wallpapers so I could put them on my screens, and figured other people might want them too.
